Frequently Asked Questions
Dubai Visa FAQ for Guyanese Citizens
Real questions from Guyanese applicants, answered
Yes. Guyanese passport holders are not eligible for visa on arrival, so a UAE tourist eVisa must be arranged before travel. It is fully online and arrives by email.
A passport valid at least six months, a recent photo, a return or onward ticket and your accommodation details. A clear three to six month bank statement helps, and we tell you what to prepare.
Because Guyana has less established UAE travel history, a solid bank statement and return ticket strengthen your case. We advise exactly what to show.
There is no nonstop service. Trips connect through a European or Gulf hub, so allow for a layover when planning.
For Guyanese applicants we offer Standard within 12 working days, Priority within 9, and Express within 6. We advise applying from Guyana at least 15 days before you travel.
Payment is in US dollars, so the Guyanese dollar amount depends on your card rate. Any major card, Apple Pay or Google Pay works.
Yes. Every Guyanese traveller, including infants and minors, needs a separate eVisa application, even a child included on a parent's passport. In some cases, for Guyana applicants, a birth or marriage certificate may be requested to confirm the family relationship.
Your approved eVisa arrives as a PDF by email and is also available from your visa portal. For Guyanese travellers we recommend carrying a printout for airline check-in and on arrival, with a copy on your phone as a backup. This applies to every eVisa issued for Guyana.
You must leave the UAE before your permitted stay ends. Since February 2026 the grace period has been removed, and a fine of AED 50 per day accrues from the day after your stay expires, so Guyanese travellers from Guyana should plan the departure date carefully.
No. UAEVisaOnline.ae is a private visa-assistance service operated by Travel Rox, Inc., not affiliated with the UAE government. Guyanese travellers may also apply directly on the official portal at a lower cost. For applicants from Guyana, our fee covers a simplified application, expert document review, error prevention, photo validation, tracking and dedicated support.
