Why Indonesian Travellers Choose Dubai
For the world largest Muslim-majority country, Dubai is a halal-friendly dream trip. Here is why.
Halal by Default
Meat is halal-certified across the UAE by law, prayer rooms are everywhere, and modest-friendly venues are the norm. Indonesian Muslim families can relax and enjoy the city.

Dubai Visa FAQ for Indonesian Citizens
Real questions from Indonesian applicants, answered
Yes, ordinary passport holders need a pre-arranged UAE tourist eVisa. A visa on arrival only applies if you hold a valid residence or visa from one of nine approved economies, which most first-time tourists do not.
Very. All meat sold in the UAE is halal-certified by law, prayer facilities are widespread, and the environment is modest-friendly, so Dubai is one of the easiest destinations for Indonesian Muslim families.
The leading cause is a name mismatch between the application form and the passport bio page. We cross-check every detail before submitting to avoid it.
Prices start at $229 all in, government fee included. The rupiah amount depends on your card exchange rate, since payment is in US dollars.
Yes, a confirmed onward or return ticket and your accommodation details are part of the application. We tell you exactly what to prepare.
Both are popular. Ramadan brings night markets and a calm atmosphere, while after Eid you catch big sales and lively attractions. The cooler months from November to March are the most comfortable.
We offer three speeds for Indonesian applicants: Standard within 12 working days, Priority within 9, and Express within 6. Times exclude weekends and UAE public holidays and start once your complete application and payment are received. From Indonesia, we advise applying at least 15 days before you travel.
Yes. Every Indonesian traveller, including infants and minors, needs a separate eVisa application, even a child included on a parent's passport. In some cases, for Indonesia applicants, a birth or marriage certificate may be requested to confirm the family relationship.
Your approved eVisa arrives as a PDF by email and is also available from your visa portal. For Indonesian travellers we recommend carrying a printout for airline check-in and on arrival, with a copy on your phone as a backup. This applies to every eVisa issued for Indonesia.
You must leave the UAE before your permitted stay ends. Since February 2026 the grace period has been removed, and a fine of AED 50 per day accrues from the day after your stay expires, so Indonesian travellers from Indonesia should plan the departure date carefully.
No. UAEVisaOnline.ae is a private visa-assistance service operated by Travel Rox, Inc., not affiliated with the UAE government. Indonesian travellers may also apply directly on the official portal at a lower cost. For applicants from Indonesia, our fee covers a simplified application, expert document review, error prevention, photo validation, tracking and dedicated support.
