Why Nepali Travellers Choose Dubai

For Nepali travellers the UAE means family, work reunions and festivals. Here is what actually matters.

Reunite With Family Working in the UAE

The UAE is the top overseas destination for Nepali workers. A tourist eVisa is the direct way to visit a relative in Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Sharjah without needing a sponsor.

A Familiar Community Abroad

Nepali shops, restaurants and community groups are well established across the Emirates, so it is an easy trip with plenty of support once you land.

Dashain, Tihar and Cool-Season Trips

Family visits cluster around Dashain and Tihar, and the cooler October to March months are the comfortable window for sightseeing and shopping in Dubai.

Dubai Visa FAQ for Nepali Citizens

Real questions from Nepali applicants, answered

Yes. Nepali passport holders get no visa-free entry or visa on arrival, so a UAE tourist eVisa must be arranged before travel. It is fully online and arrives by email as a printable PDF.

Yes. Since late 2025 the UAE requires a Police Clearance Certificate from Nepal Police for Nepali visit visa applicants. We guide you on how to obtain it and check it before submission.

There was a temporary suspension in late 2025 tied to security and overstay concerns. Issuance has since resumed with the new police clearance requirement. We always confirm the live status before you pay.

Past overstay and visa-conversion cases led to tighter checks. A clean immigration history, clear documents and strong ties to Nepal all help. We review your file against these points first.

A standard tourist eVisa does not require a bank statement, but if your profile calls for proof of funds we tell you in advance. This avoids a weak document causing a refusal.

Payment is in US dollars, so the rupee amount depends on your card rate. Any major card, Apple Pay or Google Pay works, and we send a secure link if a local card is declined.

We offer three speeds for Nepali applicants: Standard within 12 working days, Priority within 9, and Express within 6. Times exclude weekends and UAE public holidays and start once your complete application and payment are received. From Nepal, we advise applying at least 15 days before you travel.

Yes. Every Nepali traveller, including infants and minors, needs a separate eVisa application, even a child included on a parent's passport. In some cases, for Nepal applicants, a birth or marriage certificate may be requested to confirm the family relationship.

Your approved eVisa arrives as a PDF by email and is also available from your visa portal. For Nepali travellers we recommend carrying a printout for airline check-in and on arrival, with a copy on your phone as a backup. This applies to every eVisa issued for Nepal.

You must leave the UAE before your permitted stay ends. Since February 2026 the grace period has been removed, and a fine of AED 50 per day accrues from the day after your stay expires, so Nepali travellers from Nepal should plan the departure date carefully.

No. UAEVisaOnline.ae is a private visa-assistance service operated by Travel Rox, Inc., not affiliated with the UAE government. Nepali travellers may also apply directly on the official portal at a lower cost.
